Riverside, Wyoming

July 13th, 2012: Three miles into our day’s ride, Skip’s (very old) rear rim split so we were immobilized. We decided to hitch and Cheryl Munroe, the first person to drive by, picked us up and took us along with 3 of her horses, to the closest big town. We got an insight into ranching and the local small high school as she is both a rancher and teacher.

On the way to the big town of Rawlins, we stopped to have a staple removed from her trailer tire. Here her former student Waddie fixes the tire handily. He was going off soon to try out for a football scholarship.
